    1. What Scam Check Is

    Scam Check™ is a free educational tool that helps you check whether a message you've received looks like a scam. It's made for anyone who wants a second opinion before replying to a stranger online.

    It is not legal, financial, or professional advice. Use the results as guidance — not as a final answer.

    2. AI Limitations

    Scam Check uses artificial intelligence to look at your message. AI can be wrong. Sometimes it will miss a scam, and sometimes it will flag a safe message. Always trust your gut and ask a trusted friend or family member if you're unsure.

    3. How You Can Use It

    • Use it for your own safety and the safety of people you care about.
    • Don't use it to harass, abuse, or attack other people.
    • Don't try to scrape, copy, or overload the service with automated tools.
    • Don't use it for anything illegal.

    4. No Guarantees — We Cannot Offer 100% Protection

    Scam Check does not — and cannot — offer 100% protection from scams, ever. Scammers are constantly changing their tactics, and no tool, human, or AI can catch every single one. A message marked "Safe" could still turn out to be a scam, and a message flagged as risky could still be from someone real.

    This tool is meant to be one extra layer of help — not a replacement for your own judgment, a trusted friend or family member, or a caregiver. If you are unsure, always ask someone you trust before sending money, sharing personal information, or meeting anyone in person.

    We provide Scam Check "as is." We don't promise it will always be accurate, available, or error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Find Love Safely™, LLC is not liable for any damages, losses, or harm that result from using — or not being able to use — this tool, including any scam that gets through.

    5. Governing Law

    These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Lake County, Illinois.

    6. Changes

    We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will tell you when. Continued use of the tool means you accept the new terms.
